Big news from team data2insight!
Welcome to those of you who are new to our data2insight community and thank you to those who are long-time friends, clients, past clients, strategic partners, and colleagues. Our team loves the work we do and the people we work with.
When Veronica started data2insight in 2010 she saw that people were drowning in data and starved for knowledge and wisdom. She wanted to help those working to solve complex organization, education, environmental, economic, and social problems to use data for good.
In 2020, data2insight welcomed the opportunity to fully support mission-driven organizations implementing a meaningful and impactful DEI strategy. We experienced an increased demand in the face of the global pandemic, the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and others, and the civic uprisings calling for the dismantling of oppressive systems in the United States.
With everything we have learned and experienced over the last 2 years, data2insight is re-launching as more than DEI, measurement, evaluation, and assessment. We are focusing on creating cultures of belonging where everyone can thrive in mission-driven organizations across sectors. That is DEI+B.
Data2insight's mission has evolved to partner with people to make meaning of data and take collective action to create workplaces and communities where everyone can thrive. This mission is in service of the world we envision where every person has health, wellbeing, autonomy, self-determination, and freedom.
We have grown and will continue to grow our website with DEI+B resources, writings, tools, and inspiration. Our *new* monthly newsletter will support people in this beautiful struggle to realize liberation for all people.
If you would like to support our mission of creating workplaces and communities where everyone can thrive, we would be incredibly grateful if you share our website with anyone who would be interested in our work.
Here is to 13+ more years of advancing social justice together in the pursuit of liberation for all!
Sincerely,
Jimena Castria, Cari A. Harris, Tomeca L. Kellogg-Walters, Anh P. Pham, Jennifer Rosales, Frieda E. Smith, & Veronica S. Smith
