26 Jun Women in Business and Leadership Awards
Data2insight wants to congratulate the winners of the Women in Business and Leadership Awards (WIBLI). The WIBLI Awards honors organizations and individuals who are making significant impact towards advancing gender equity in our region’s workplaces and communities.
The awards ceremony, which took place in April, included keynote remarks from Tacoma Mayor Marilyn Strickland, as well as the performance of two original poems by former Washington State Poet Laureate, Elizabeth Austen.
Three awards were given out:
- The WIBLI Business of the Year award went to CH2M, honored for being a business that has significantly contributed to gender equity in our local workplaces and our communities.
- The WIBLI Female Leader of the Year award went to Anna Steffeney, founder and CEO of LeaveLogic, honored as a woman who demonstrates exemplary leadership traits and has made significant contributions to gender equity in the region.
- The WIBLI Rising Star award went to Marilee Jolin, executive director of South Seattle Emerald, honored as a woman with 10 years or less of work experience who has exemplary leadership traits at an early point in her career and has worked to advance gender equity in the region.
